FREE CPR training for the Community

Defibrilator use and training

Community Lifesavers offer Free CPR and Defibrillator sessions to groups of 6 or more. Currently focusing on the Thanet area of East Kent, which includes Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs and the surrounding areas.

The sessions last 1 hour and consist of a short presentation and demonstration by some of the volunteer team then participants get the opportunity to practice this lifesaving skill for themselves.

Promoting this lifesaving skill and not a first aid course is key to spreading this easy to learn skill to as many people as possible. The sessions have been run from private homes or we can work with your group to find a suitable venue for you.

The groups can be as large at 30 or more if needed. Some of our community groups have included Westgate and Birchington Golf Club, The Smugglers Restaurant in Birchington, Courts Pharmacy, Westbrook Bowling Club, Birchington WI, Kingsgate Squash Club, Rotary Club of Margate, Rotary Club of Sandwich, Thanet Business Network, Birchington Veterans Society and more…
